Trump Adds Hillary Clinton to List of ISIS Co-Founders

Politics News Donald Trump

Shortly after tacitly encouraging his followers to assassinate Hillary Clinton and crediting Barack Obama for founding the terrorist group ISIS, Donald Trump’s rampant insanity shows no signs of slowing. Today is barely half-gone, and already the Republican PRESIDENTIAL nominee has named Hillary Clinton as one of the ISIS co-founders.

“[Obama] gets the most valuable player award. Him and Hillary, she gets it too. I gave her co-founder if you really looked at this speech,” he said on CNBC this morning. “But he and Hillary get the most valuable player award having to do with Iraq, and having to do with the ISIS situation, or as he would call it, ISIL. He calls it ISIL because nobody else does and he probably wants to bother people by using another term, whether it’s more accurate or not.”

When asked whether he thought this might be inappropriate rhetoric, Trump was defiant:

“Is there something wrong with saying that? Are people complaining that I said he was the founder of ISIS? Look, all I do is tell the truth. I’m a truth teller. All I do is tell the truth…If at the end of 90 days I fall in short because I’m somewhat politically incorrect even though I’m supposed to be the smart one and even though I’m supposed to have a lot of good ideas, it’s okay. I go back to a very good way of life.”

Hysterically, Hugh Hewitt gave him an out in a radio interview this morning, saying that Trump likely meant Obama owned some responsibility since ISIS grew in the vacuum of the Iraq “peace.” But Trump wasn’t having it:

“No, I meant he’s the founder of ISIS.”

Okay then. We’re all looking forward to seeing his next line of accusation. Personally, I think he should go with “Tim Kaine did 9/11,” just to implicate the entire Democratic ticket.
