You’ll Soon Be Able To Experience Death On The Titanic
Photos: ullstein bild and Universal History Archive/GettyConstruction on yet another Titanic recreation has begun, but, with this one, the ship actually sinks.
The project is headed by the Seven Star International Cultural Tourism Resort, a highly anticipated resort along the Qijiang River in Sichuan, China and will feature a near-replica of the original ocean liner, along with a simulation of the iceberg collision that sank the ship, killing 1,500 people, in April 1912.
“The Unsinkable Titantic,” as it’s so cleverly called, has, of course, been met with criticism online, but the group in charge of the re-creation maintains the simulation will be done in a “very respectful way.” So, not like that Titanic re-enactment in Rick and Morty.
