Timothy Olyphant Joins Fargo Season Four

Justified alum Timothy Olyphant is returning to FX in “a major recurring role” on the Chris Rock-led latest season of Noah Hawley anthology series Fargo, per Deadline.

The show’s new season is set in 1950 Kansas City, Mo., where two criminal syndicates—one Italian, led by Donatello Fadda, one African American, led by Loy Cannon (Rock)—have struck an uneasy peace, which the heads of both families have cemented by trading their youngest sons. There isn’t much known about Olyphant’s character beyond his name: Dick “Deafy” Wickware, a Fargo name if ever we’ve heard one.

Other previously announced cast members include Jack Huston, Jason Schwartzman and Ben Whishaw, along with Uzo Aduba, Jessie Buckley, Salvatore Esposito, Andrew Bird, Jeremie Harris, Gaetano Bruno, Anji White, Francesco Acquaroli, E’myri Crutchfield and Amber Midthunder.

Fargo begins production this fall in Chicago, and will air on FX in 2020.
