A Major Game of Thrones Character Will Return This Season, According to Star Maisie Williams

TV News Game of Thrones

In a recent interview on BBC Radio 1, Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams revealed that a character not seen since the show’s third season will soon be making a return. That character? The youngest Stark, Rickon, who was, during episode nine of season three, sent off with his wildling protector Osha to the Last Hearth, the seat of House Umber.

Williams hesitantly shared the news while answering a question from a caller who inquired about the character’s potential comeback. “Ye-es,” she replied. “Yes. Maybe.” She later cleared up the ambiguity with a firm confirmation: “Yes, we will indeed. Oh no, I’m literally going to get off the air and someone’s going to e-mail me!” Williams joked.

Paste writers recently offered their thoughts about how Game of Thrones will end—now, we can supplement those predictions with the knowledge that, somehow, the youngest member of House Stark will be involved.

Game of Thrones airs at 9 p.m. EST Sunday nights on HBO.
