Daily Dose: Post Pink, “You Real”

Daily Dose is your daily source for the song you absolutely, positively need to hear every day. Curated by the Paste Music Team.

Two years after their debut tape I Believe You, OK, and fresh off a supporting run with The Breeders, Baltimore’s Post Pink are back with a new single, “You Real.” While I Believe You, OK, released on Priests’ Sister Polygon label, was a collection of searing, tightly-wound punk, “You Real” builds on that impressive start, with bright melodies punctuating the band’s trademark aggression.

“I would love to see you real,” singer Angela Swiecicki yearns in the track’s build, accented by a stinging guitar and satisfying background crooning. Hear “You Real” below.
