Kim Davis, Who Famously Refused to Issue Same-Sex Marriage Licenses in Kentucky, Lost Tonight

Way back in the before times, in 2015, Rowan County Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis defied a Supreme Court ruling and refused to issue marriage licenses, and instantly became a conservative folk hero. Tonight, she lost.

It’s early, but it’s nice to know that whatever happens tonight, we can take this small victory for decency to the bank.
