The Final King Arthur Trailer is Appropriately Crazy

Guy Ritchie has never been known for his subtlety, and he’s really embracing that lack of subtlety in the final trailer for his forthcoming action flick King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Seriously though, there are giant elephants. Why?!

Starring Charlie Hunnam as the yet-to-be king, this film will chronicle the seizing of his destiny through the removal of a sword from a stone. And there’s a ton of other over-the-top stuff here too, besides, y’know, the giant elephants. For instance, there’s plenty of intense battle footage, Jude Law levitating a ball of fire (is he a wizard?), that eagle carrying a giant snake and some crazy witchcraft towards the end. Hopefully this will all make sense in the end, and Ritchie will be able to tie all these weird loose ends together, because the film’s 126-minute run-time does not seem like nearly enough time to answer all of our questions.
