In Latest Very Rational Move, Trump Wants to Ban New York Times and Washington Post From White House

Even as I type these words, it almost feels odd that this story hasn’t happened already. Donald Trump, hater of negative press and journalism in general, seems to have decided to ban his two least favorite newspapers, the New York Times and Washington Post, from the White House. Watch him tell Sean Hannity all about it in a recent clip:

As usual, it’s hard to tell whether this is a serious new policy that will actually be implemented, or if Trump was speaking off the cuff and all his aides and advisors are now running around in a blind panic to manage the fall-out. If it happens, it will of course be historically remarkable, but not altogether surprising for this administration.
And it will be old news in mere hours, if that, because Trump has already tweeted Tuesday morning that the impeachment proceedings against him are a “lynching.”
So some day, if a Democrat becomes President and the Republicans win the House, even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the President, without due process or fairness or any legal rights. All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here – a lynching. But we will WIN!
