Amazon Unveils New Drive-up Grocery Pickup Program
Images via Amazon/YouTubeA new announcement from Amazon promises the next big breakthrough in the company’s online shopping experience.
The company’s latest program, called AmazonFresh Pickup, is an initiative to cut down on shopping time for users. Customers can order groceries online, reserve a time to get their groceries dropped off, and have their groceries delivered to them at an AmazonFresh location. Customers can have groceries delivered at a minimum of 15 minutes from when they placed the order, with no minimum purchase.
The company’s video (embedded below) explains that the free program is exclusive to Prime members. Currently, the program is only available to Amazon Employees in two locations in Seattle’s SODO and Ballard neighborhoods, but the company promises to open the program to the general public in the near future.
