Jimmy Kimmel’s Latest “Mean Tweets” Features Country Music Legends
Images via ABC/YouTubeThe best type of humor is the self-deprecating kind, which is why late-night host Jimmy Kimmel’s “Mean Tweets” segment is always so hilarious.
Kimmel’s latest installment of the beloved segment takes advantage of last night’s Country Music Awards, featuring well-known country music stars reading tweets about themselves. This edition, which includes legends Bonnie Raitt, Dolly Parton and Willie Nelson (among many others), shows that these musicians know how to take a joke.
“Bonnie Raitt looks like the aunt who would have a few too many at your mom’s birthday party and try to fight your dad,” reads Raitt, who laughs and looks slyly at the camera.
“I guess I should feel hurt but I don’t. Cause I patterned my look after a hooker!” quips Dolly Parton after reading a tweet that says, “It’s not a hooker convention, it’s a Dolly Parton concert.”
