Ronny Chieng’s Netflix Debut Is Asian Comedian Destroys America!

Ronny Chieng has a Netflix comedy special coming this December. Available globally on Dec. 17, the comedian’s Netflix debut is titled Ronny Chieng: Asian Comedian Destroys America!, and offers insight into Chieng’s perspective as he evaluates the effects of consumerism and theorizes how efficient the U.S. would be with an Asian-American President—in this Netflix original, Chieng shares what he thinks really makes America great (hint: it’s not Agent Orange).

The Daily Show correspondent, who also played a role in the hit 2018 film Crazy Rich Asians, was born in Malaysia and shares his unapologetic point of view about his journey to America thus far in the new special.

Chieng’s series based on his experiences as a Malaysian international student studying law in Australia,Ronny Chieng: International Student, is currently available on YouTube and Comedy Central. The comedian/actor will be also hosting the 47th International Emmy Awards Gala on Nov. 25 in New York.

Those unfamiliar with the comedian can check out the first episode of International Student and a short clip of Chieng on The Daily Show below.
