Stephen Colbert Delivers the Full House/True Detective Mash-Up We Needed

Bob Saget, Dave Coulier, and John Stamos are the stars of the Full House reboot (Fuller House) that you can currently watch on Netflix—and which has already been renewed for a second season. What you may not have known is that when night falls, the three daddies head out into the mean streets of San Francisco to fight crime. Their exploits are the subject of another TV show, this one totally fake, called Full House Nights. It’s a dark, gritty, True Detective-like take on the popular children’s show, and Stephen Colbert was kind enough to show his audience a portion of what will undoubtedly be 2016’s greatest program. Watch that clip above—the sketch is just fine, but the opening credits are legendary.
