There’s a Website that Cat-Puns Everything You’ve Ever Wanted to Say

Comedy News

Listen here, meow. This fun online tool is absolutely purr-fect. I almost want to whisker about it so no one hears me.

But seriously.

Kittify turns everything you type into cat-puns. Perfect for annoying your friends, I recommend everyone stop whatever you are doing and “kittify your text”, as the web app says. All you do is come up with something clever (or mundane, it will be more exciting in catspeak) and type it in the box. Submit it, et voilá! You’ve got lots of cat puns that make whatever you say exponentially better.

A writer over at Bustle turned Adele lyrics into Adele the kitty lyrics, and I wanted to try it here as well. I thought about it, and decided the most cat-friendly artist we cover at Paste is Ryan Adams (seriously, the guy loves cats). See his Instagram if you don’t believe me:

So, here are some Ryan Adams lyrics (that he wrote, not the ones he covered by Taylor Swift) kittified.

From “Gimme Something Good”, “I can’t talk/ my mind is so blank/ so going for a walk/ I’ve got nothing left to say” turns into “I can’t talk/ my mind is so blank/ so going fur a walk/ I’ve cat nothing left to meow”.

From “Nobody Girl”, “and whispers in an all night bar/ better off as the fool/ than the owner of that kind of heart/ they don’t know you anyway/ they don’t know you and they don’t watch you walk away” turns into “And whispepurrs in an all night bar/ bettepurr off as the fool/ than the ownepurr of that kind of heart/ they don’t meow you anyway/ they don’t meow you and they don’t watch you walk paway.”

Enjoy your new found cat puns, everyone.
