Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Black Panther Comic Gets Amped-Up, Run the Jewels-Soundtracked Trailer

Ta-Nehisi Coates’ helming of the Black Panther story has largely been met with both fan and critical praise. A bridge between classic Wakanda and modern but refreshingly spun themes, Black Panther: A Nation Under Our Feet has easily earned itself the title of one of this year’s must-read comics.

Amid all the well-earned hype, Marvel Comics has now released a trailer for the Coates-guided series where the writers shares what he has in store for his Black Panther run with and the mighty kingdom of Wakanda. And as if that wasn’t cool enough, the clip is set to Run the Jewels’ “Oh My Darling (Don’t Cry)” from 2014’s Run The Jewels 2. Watch the trailer above, and read our Black Panther feature here.
