Getting tired of Star Wars trailers? I know we are. Let’s change that tune and get you a fresh new X-Men: Apocalpyse trailer, the first one for Bryan Singer’s upcoming movie about a really angry blue dude who thinks he’s mutant Jesus.
This is our first look at a number of characters in the context of the film. Jubilee is rocking her classic look from the animated series, while Storm has a more dystopian Mad Max style. Psylocke, Archangel, Nightcrawler and a young Jean Grey and Scott Summers (Cyclops) make short cameos as well.
As for Apocalypse, well, you can’t do much to make him not look like a big angry blue dude. Oscar Isaac seems to be molding to the role well though, with quite the commanding presence. Plus, bald Professor Xavier! We’re moving closer and closer to the timelines of Days of Future Past and the original X-Men titles merging, so we’ll probably see some of the more familiar X-Men appear.
X-Men: Apocalypse will be landing in theaters May 27, 2016.
