Watch the First Full Trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle

After yesterday’s trailer tease showed us a robot being punched and a cowboy-hatted Channing Tatum flipping a shotgun—which is about all you could ask for in an action-movie—we’ve been so ready for the new trailer for Kingsman: The Golden Circle to see the light of day. Now that it has, after premiering during last night’s Late Late Show with James Corden, we are happy to report that it’s everything we hoped for.

The trailer first takes its time to reestablish Eggsy’s call of Kingsman duty—a not-unwelcome refresher, considering the original film did come out more than two years ago. It’s after the Kingsman headquarters is destroyed in an eye-popping explosion that the clip takes a turn for the thrilling, reuniting Taron Egerton’s Eggsy with Mark Strong’s Merlin before entering into a whirlwind of vivid action, all set to Frank Sinatra’s seminal “My Way.” The trailer also shows off the Kingsman sequel’s stacked cast, as well it should—Julianne Moore, Halle Berry, Channing Tatum, Jeff Bridges and Pedro Pascal all appear, though Sir Elton John is conspicuously absent. Best of all, however, is Colin Firth’s triumphant return from the dead at the end of the clip. He’s shaving, of course, because eye or no eye, Galahad is going to look sharp. Manners maketh man, after all.

A more detailed synopsis for the film has also arrived along with the trailer:

Kingsman: The Secret Service introduced the world to Kingsman—an independent, international intelligence agency operating at the highest level of discretion, whose ultimate goal is to keep the world safe. In Kingsman: The Golden Circle, our heroes face a new challenge. When their headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads them to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents’ strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that’s becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy …

As usual, a trailer is still only a trailer, and though this first full preview rocked our world, there’s no guarantee that the actual movie will do the same. That said, the explosive action and panache that are on full display within this new footage bode very well for the forthcoming film, placing it high on our list of 2017 titles to look forward to.

Check out the full trailer above, and catch Kingsman: The Golden Circle when it hits theaters on Sept. 29.
