Chronicles of Narnia Series Returns with The Silver Chair

Movies News The Chronicles of Narnia

The work of C.S. Lewis will come back to life in the fourth installment of the Chronicles of Narnia series, per Entertainment Weekly.

The Silver Chair will follow in the steps of the adaptations of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The progression of the films phased out the four Pevensie siblings so the latest transition to the big screen will see Eustace Scrubb, originally played by Will Poulter in The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, and his classmate Jill Pole travel to Narnia on a quest from the lion Aslan to find their heir of King Caspian, Prince Rillian.

It is still unclear if Poulter will reprise his role as Eustace, or if Liam Neeson will once again voice Aslan in the new installment. The film’s script is being adapted from Lewis’ 1953 novel by Life of Pi scribe David Magee.

Lewis’ stepson Douglas Gresham will serve as the producer for The Silver Chair.
