Photo by Kevin Winter/GettyIt’s been a good long while since Arcade Fire toured, and it will be a good long while before they tour again, but now, at least, there’s good news on the horizon. Thanks to a clever Twitter account and a Haitian arts festival called Ghetto Biennale, with a Kickstarter aimed at funding a catalogue, we now have some evidence as to the band’s next world tour:
OH HELLO! Arcade Fire’s next tour appears to be scheduled to start in November 2017. https://t.co/S9kem6vNwXpic.twitter.com/yhiuWamZnx

Elementary! As ArcadeFireTube went on to point out, a November 2017 world tour likely means that the new album will come out earlier that year, rather than in late 2016 as many hoped. The band has previously said that they’ll be working on a new album this year. The last tour, for Reflektor, ended in 2014.
