Superduo Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam Release Single, “In a Black Out”

Vampire Weekend’s Rostam Batmanglij and the Walkmen’s Hamilton Leithauser have joined forces as Hamilton Leithauser + Rostam and are releasing an album entitled I Had A Dream That You Were Mine on Sept. 23.

The duo already debuted the track “A 1000 Times,” and today, they shared “In a Black Out.” The new single is a haunting display of the pure melancholic force behind a project distinct from the members’ other bands. “In a Black Out” is driven by intricate guitar work and a thumping bass undercurrent, rounding out the beautiful track.
