Lin-Manuel Miranda Teases Songs for the Next The Hamilton Mixtape
Image via Atlantic RecordsThe Hamilton Mixtape came out on Friday but the non-stop man himself, Lin-Manuel Miranda, is already teasing what we could see on volume two.
Miranda tweeted this morning (or last night for Miranda, who is in London filming Mary Poppins 2) that versions of “Right Hand Man” and “The Reynolds Pamphlet” were in the works for the first volume but weren’t finished in time, so they’ll be on the next edition.
Right Hand Man. Reynolds Pamphlet. They were already underway but couldn’t get em done in time. https://t.co/XdfS8oCDjA

On top of those two songs, Miranda also tweeted back in November that remixes of “The Schuyler Sisters,” “The Room Where It Happens” and “One Last Time” would also be included on The Hamilton Mixtape, volume two.
What, y’all though we’d leave Schuyler Sisters unremixed? Room Where It Happens? One Last Time?
OF COURSE vol. 2!

Miranda also tweeted other fun tidbits about the mixtape that’s actually out now. He said that Regina Spektor’s “Dear Theodosia” was the first song to be recorded, while Black Thought’s verse on “My Shot” was the first original material recorded. He also said that a cassette version of the mixtape is on its way, though he didn’t have any specific information to share.
In his impromptu Q&A, Miranda did ask for some time to get The Hamilton Mixtape Vol. 2 going. He said, “Please savor this one I’m so tired,” which is perfectly fair. It seems like every other week, this guy announces a new project.
