La Fonda Share Video For "We Are Infinite"

Earlier last month, Seattle-based quartet La Fonda released their sophomore LP We Are Infinite, a swirling gem of shoegaze-inspired dream-pop that tackled the intersection of poverty, alienation and mental health in the face of corporations taking over their hometown and navigating adulthood in a post-lockdown America. Today, they’ve released a music video for the title track written and directed by Hannah Schmidt.

Sisters Valerie and Veronica Topacio say: “When we first started the band, drugs were non-existent in our life and for some reason they slowly crept in and became a daily struggle. There were periods we questioned if we could stop and at times, it was even challenging to be around each other without using. This song helped us find our strength and navigate through periods of debilitating isolation, abuse, and self-doubt, reminding us that we are bigger than the scars etched in our memories––and that We Are Infinite.”
