Peter Silberman Shares Part Two of Impermanence At the Glass House

Following the release of his critically acclaimed album Impermanence, Peter Silberman has been slowly unveiling a six-part performance film set to a live performance of songs from Impermanence in the Glass House Museum. The latest installment of the film finds Silberman performing “New York” in the Museum’s Pavilion in the Pond.

The camera, in one take, traces the two dancers—Rebecca Margolick and Stephanie Crousillat—as they wind around the pavilion’s columns. The architectural space allows the camera to alter depth perception, using only panning with no use of zoom. Also noteworthy are the garments designed by Natasha Takemoto and Joy Wolcott.
