Pixies Release Stop-Motion Video for “Classic Masher” Off Their New Album Head Carrier

“Classic Masher” is one of the tracks getting the best reception off Pixies’ newest album Head Carrier. Today the band released a stop-motion, vintage video for the song.

True to the title, the visual features lots of mashing mouths: opening and closing lips painted on a piano and zoomed-in shots of women’s fidgeting lips and teeth. There’s no clear narrative, but the sepia-toned images are compellingly eccentric.
