Description
Summertime is here and so is the highly anticipated new radio single ‘Hot Fun In The Summer’, featuring Najee. The track is reminiscent of the 70’s Roy Ayers ‘Everybody Loves The Sunshine’. This soulful Summer jam was performed, written and produced by Britt.
Britt says, “I’ve written several hit songs for Boney James and this song was written with him in mind. While performing at The London Jazz Festival my friend Najee came to the show. I invited him on stage to play with me and the band. When I returned to the states, I played him my song, ‘Hot Fun In The Summer’ he loved it. I asked him if he wouldn’t mind playing on the tune with me and he jumped all over the track.”
