Description
From the southern roots of Georgia comes Lauren
St. Jane with her own combination of country swagger and Americana
rock. This fiery, female-fronted band offers a raw sound complimented by
strong, alluring vocals, ripping licks, and lyrics you'd expect from a true
redhead. Her sophomore effort EP,
"Hurricane," produced by ZK Productions
and Matthew Heath, released March 2, 2015
and features the highlight single, "Running Around,"
co-written with Angie Aparo (Faith
Hill, "Cry") and lends new artistic layers to Lauren's classic
Americana style without forgoing a natural radio sensibility.
Lauren’s first EP "American Dreams," debuted in 2011 and three months later, she was
playing for CNN at SXSW. "American Dreams" was
the catalyst that led her to share the stage with Alabama, Diamond
Rio, Craig Morgan, NEEDTOBREATHE, Shawn Mullins, and Chuck Cannon and many more. Heart-wrenching
inspiration, prolific writing and a dire dedication to the craft of country
combine to ignite the blaze behind the EP and the live show. In both song and sound, Lauren St. Jane is
a collective drink that goes down smooth but leaves a beckoning burn for more -
a classic country shot with a modern Americana aftertaste.
