Lesa has always been a singer/musician, but it wasn't until 2016 that she was finally able to write a song, fulfilling a life-long dream of creating something new.
Unfortunately, the song was born out of tragedy as Lesa lost her only daughter, Victoria "Tori" Ruth Brackbill, in March 2016 at the age of 20 months. Tori had Krabbe Leukodystrophy, a terminal genetic disease that both Lesa and her husband unknowingly passed along to their precious daughter. They chose joy and gratitude throughout Tori's life and will continue to do so for the rest of their lives.
You can read more about their story at http://www.thebrackbills.com
"Lord, Remind Me" was written after Tori's diagnosis as Lesa and Brennan pleaded with the Lord for healing and wisdom. Lesa needed reminders of God's promises and His faithfulness frequently, as this song portrays.
ALL TIPS from this song will go to help Lesa and her husband, Brennan, expand their family via IVF and/or adoption, as it is unwise for them to have another child naturally given the genetic risk.
Lesa and Brennan make their home in Hershey, PA.
