Marcel Harrison

Marcel started in entertainment as a competitive dancer. He trained at Oz Performing Arts Center under Pattie Rutland (who now is creative director and founder of "Pattie Rutland Jazz"). Marcel won dance awards from associations such as Dance Masters of America, Showstoppers National Talent Competition, and Dance Educators of America. Marcel also participated in The World Jazz dance Congress by Gus Giordano outside Chicago, Ill as a member of " Oz and Company Jazz Dance Theater". Marcel then taught Hip-Hop and Jazz at OZ P.A.C. and traveled as a freelance choreographer working across the USA and Canada. Marcel's dance experience spans over 20 years and he served in Iraq for the United States Army as a supply specialist. Upon leaving the Army Marcel finished his Ba in Psychology at Ashford University Clinton, Iowa (online). Marcel is currently pursuing his education as a music production student at Berklee College of Music Boston, Mass. (online). Marcel also published a Christian devotional book "Poetry N Motion The Devotional" and is working on the forthcoming album "The Gift" which will comprised of songs and poems featured in the afore mentioned devotional book.
