The 2016 Election Gets Even Weirder: Colin Powell Email Used the Phrase “Dicking Bimbos” in Leaked Email
Photo by Paul Morigi/GettyFormer four-star general and Secretary of State Colin Powell has always seemed to command the kind of dignity that transcends political parties. He was the guy you respected and admired almost regardless of your affiliation, and who stood as an example of the best America had to offer—he even had the courage to buck his party and endorse Obama in 2008 and 2012. But if there’s one lesson we’ve learned from the 2016 election, it’s that no one escapes with his or her reputation totally intact, and Powell is no exception. Today, due to yet another email dump, he went from being a paragon of virtue to a dude who uses the phrase “dicking bimbos” in his personal correspondence.
In a new set of emails posted at DCLeaks (which, no surprise, may have a Russian connection), you can read Powell sounding off on a number of issues. But his most titillating words of all, by far, come in an email to Jeffrey Leeds on the topic of Hillary Clinton and her husband Bill:

“I would rather not have to vote for her, although she is a friend I respect. A 70-year person with a long track record, unbridled ambition, greedy, not transformational, with a hasband still dicking bimbos at home (according to the NYP),” he wrote.
Well…that’s certainly not subtle.
