For those who don’t know the background, Petraeus pled guilty to “unauthorized removal and retention of classified information” in Charlotte, NC in 2012 after documents were found in the possession of Paula Broadwell, with whom he was having an affair. He was sentenced to two years probation (and a $100,000 fine) in April 2015.
