Trump Brags to UN About His Accomplishments, Gets Laughed At

Q: What happens when you try to make outlandish claims about your terrible presidential administration, but you’re not at a rally full of hooting yokels?

As ABC News reports, Trump spoke on Tuesday morning front of the United Nations General Assembly, and his boasting ways didn’t go over so well:

“In less than two years, my administration has accomplished almost more than any other administration in the history of our country,” Trump said at the top of his address, which prompted audible laughter in the hall.

“Didn’t expect that reaction but that’s OK,” he responded.

This is amazing, especially after Sarah Huckabee Sanders predicted that the speech “is going to be a great moment for the president.”

And really, I don’t even think the audience was trying to make a political point. How else are you supposed to treat a claim like that? Laughter is really the only response.
