Trump Goes After “Alex” Baldwin on Twitter
Photo courtesy of GettyAfter it came out that Alec Baldwin called his SNL Trump impersonations “agony,” it didn’t take the president long to launch a killer burn. Waking up early, he sent this baby out at 5:42 a.m.:
Pres. Trump attacks ‘Alex’ Baldwin for his portrayal on “Saturday Night Live,” tweeting that it was “agony for those who were forced to watch.” https://t.co/SHpRh5ZPHBpic.twitter.com/MKGJXWsc6H

That tweet only survived a few minutes, which is a shame because it would be kind of funny if Trump had a new bit where he called Baldwin “Alex.” Instead, he deleted it and quickly reloaded his Twitter guns:
Alec Baldwin, whose dying mediocre career was saved by his terrible impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing me was agony. Alec, it was agony for those who were forced to watch. Bring back Darrell Hammond, funnier and a far greater talent!

Interestingly, he also removed the “you were terrible” line. Is Trump going soft? This is the third time Trump has lashed out Baldwin’s portrayal of him, but there’s also this from 2012:
Congrats to Alec Baldwin, his new wife will be great for him and a gem.

To conclude: Trump hates impersonations of himself, loves new wives.
