Warren Says Bloomberg Will Serve as a Good Demonstration on How to Take Down an “Egomaniac Billionaire” in Tonight’s Debate
Photo by Andrew Burton/GettyOn the eve of tonight’s Democratic debate in Las Vegas, Senator Elizabeth Warren shared a Politico article on Mike Bloomberg’s crooked qualification, stating he’s as good as a punching bag, practice for when the future Democratic nominee takes down Donald Trump.
It’s a shame Mike Bloomberg can buy his way into the debate. But at least now primary voters curious about how each candidate will take on Donald Trump can get a live demonstration of how we each take on an egomaniac billionaire. https://t.co/H02radEZcv

Bloomberg has been on the uptick after sinking an exorbitant amount of money into advertising, including paid meme outreach. According to an NPR poll released Tuesday, his surge to second place qualifies him for his first debate appearance tonight. Warren herself dropped five points to fourth place, following behind Bernie Sanders, Bloomberg and Joe Biden, respectively. Pete Buttigieg, interestingly, fell 13 points and now has fallen behind Amy Klobuchar, despite leading the delegates game after New Hampshire and Iowa.
Tonight’s debate will air at 9-11 p.m. ET on NBC. You can watch in horror as Bloomberg tries to defend his stop-and-frisk tactics and sexist history, which DNC Chairman Tom Perez is sure to stifle in some way.
