Ted Cruz, Somehow Getting Weirder, Suggests That Heckler at His Rally Should Be Spanked

As you see in the video below, Ted Cruz’s already weird campaign just got quite a bit weirder after a young heckler interrupted his speech in a La Porte, IN rally.

“All right, apparently there’s a young man who’s having some problems,” said Cruz, in response to a young protester yelling, “YOU SUCK!” at the candidate. After thanking him for the insult, his strange, strange mind went immediately to spanking:

“Children should actually speak with respect…Imagine what a different world it would be if someone told Donald Trump that years ago…You know, in my household, when a child behaves that way, they get a spanking.”

Spanking, of course, is not a new theme for Cruz. In January, he asked voters to “spank” Hillary Clinton at the ballot box. This, we’d like to re-emphasize, is a weird, weird guy.
