Kickstarter Weekly: Get a Massage From Your Hoodie with AiraWear and Much More

Another week means another selection of sometimes quirky, always useful Kickstarter projects. This time round, we have a hoodie that’ll give you a massage, a 3D printer with children in mind, a relaxation headset, a smart night light and the perfect way to check you’re protected from the sun at all times.

AiraWear
airawear.pngIt’s easy to sit badly and slouch, damaging your posture and potentially causing long term muscle problems. While many apps and gadgets work hard at reminding you to sit correctly, AiraWear tackles the pain that can be caused by incorrect posture. It looks like a regular hoodie, but on the inside are six targeted inflatable massage modules hooked up to a Bluetooth connected micro air-pump. You simply use the hoodie’s app to relieve your aches and pains at the touch of a button, meaning it feels just like a personalized massage. A pledge of $129 will garner you one AiraWear Massage Hoodie with the campaign ending June 19.

Sunscreenr
sunscreenr.jpgWe all know that sunscreen is important to wear when out and about in sunlight. Remembering to be protected at all times isn’t so simple though. Sunscreenr aims to change that by offering a way for you to see how well covered you are. It’s a special viewing device that means you can look at your skin and immediately see where you’ve missed a spot or where your previous application has worn off. It’s easy to use, waterproof, and very portable. While early bird offers are all gone, a pledge of $74 will get you one Sunscreenr device. The campaign ends June 24.

MiniToy 3D Printer
mini3dtoy.jpg3D printing is all the rage, but how about a 3D printer that’s ideal for kids to use? That’s the thinking behind the MiniToy 3D Printer. The colorful looking gadget focuses on simplicity and fun, ensuring that children can easily print whatever 3D model they like in a matter of only three steps. You can use it with a PC, or smartphone app with one touch printing meaning anyone can figure things out. It’s ideal for those looking to get their children more into technology, as well as the arts. A pledge of $289 gets you one MiniToy 3D printer, as well as a starter package of filaments. The campaign ends June 24.

Melomind
melomind.pngIn a constantly busy world, it’s hard to truly unwind and relax. Melomind hopes to make things easier by using its headphone technology to teach you how to relax efficiently and improve your daily life. It generates an audio soundscape for you to listen to, adapting and responding to how your brain reacts to it. All you have to do is relax, and the headset figures out how to make things even better for you through its EEG sensors. It’s comfortable and calming, ensuring you can take some time out of your hectic lifestyle no matter where you are. A pledge of €220 (about $249) gets you one Melomind headset with the campaign ending June 10.

Monster Shield Night Light
monstershield.jpgAs any child can tell you, the problem with the dark of night is that monsters can come out of the shadows. Monster Shield Night Light aims to solve that problem, while also helping children overcome their fear of the dark. Kids can use the accompanying app to scan a room for monsters, before activating the night light wirelessly to make them feel more secure. The night light offers brightness control as well as a custom color selection of over 16 million unique colors, plus there’s a timer setting too. It’s sure to help ward off any possible monster threat. A pledge of $29 gets you one Monster Shield Night Light with the campaign ending June 20.
