Adventure Time: Islands Miniseries to Debut in January

All good things must come to an end, and so it is with Adventure Time, which will finish its run on Cartoon Network in 2018. Before the series disappears from our lives, a new, eight-part miniseries is set to debut on Cartoon Network in January.

Adventure Time: Islands will follow Finn and Jake as they travel out of the Land of Ooo “to embark on a quest of epic proportions across the ocean and into new lands.” Notably, the miniseries promises to address one of the major mysteries of the series: “What happened to all the humans?”

Adventure Time: Islands will air across four nights, Jan. 30 to Feb. 2, on Cartoon Network, and beginning on Jan. 24, all of the episodes will be available for purchase on DVD. You can watch the opening credits sequence for the miniseries below.
