Gallery: Punk in the Park 2025, San Francisco

Punk in the Park will be traveling all over the western half of the United States through this summer, but the festival made a stop in San Francisco on May 3, bringing to town acts like Channel 3, Pennywise, Lagwagon, Screeching Weasel, and countless others. The Cow Palace was rocking. No Warped Tour? No problem. Punk in the Park continues to be punk rock’s great answer to the modern day’s taste for traveling festivals, calling to mind the early days of Lollapalooza. The lineup showcased bands both new and established, from the rollicks of The Side Eyes and Knocked Down to the beloved energy of Dead to Me and Leftover Crack. But it was Pennywise who headlined the day, bringing their California-colored, high-octane, Hermosa Beach-bred sound to the Bay Area and proving that they are still one of the definitive SoCal bands working. Punk in the Park’s reign on summer rock and roll didn’t end on Saturday, though. In the coming months, the event will head to Portland, Denver, Worcester, Chandler, and Orange County.
Our photographer Kris Lori Fuentes Cortes was on-site capturing the action. Check out our official Paste gallery of Punk in the Park below.
