About the Book

"What is a cryptid? And why are there short stories being written about this nonsense?" - Redacted 3-star review

The dictionary defines "cryptid" as: "An animal whose existence or survival is disputed or unsubstantiated."

Cryptozoology, is a pseudo-scientific field, which focuses on the study of creatures whose existence has yet to be—or else cannot entirely be—proved or disproved by science. Collectively known as cryptids, it include examples like the Loch Ness Monster and Bigfoot, yet these famous examples are by no means the only ones on record. There are hundreds if not thousands of examples of creatures whose validity has not yet been verified.

Tall Tails Anthology Vol. One is a collection of two short stories involving two of these famous cryptids attacking helpless and ignorant people who wander into the woods at night.

Spooky tales recounted by a sarcastic narrator sure to keep you up at night... Or laugh out loud at their absurdity. Either way, that sounds enjoyable right?

About the Author

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, I grew up reading and watching genre stories. I love Sci-Fi and Fantasy, but also love a good modern romance or coming of age story, all of which has influenced my writing choices and style.

I currently still live in Denver with my wife Miranda and my Plott hound Daisy, while still doing the thing I love: storytelling.
