Description

Just in time for Christmas, Eric Coomer has released a collection of snowy covers by Leigh Nash, Randy Newman, Laura Marling and more.

In December of 2017, the former lead singer of Knapsackheroes set up a makeshift studio in downtown Nashville and recorded and played every instrument on the project.

Credits
  1. Goodbye England (Covered in Snow) - written and originally recorded by Laura Marling
  2. Away in a Manger - First published in the late nineteenth century, no one knows who wrote the lyrics. The melody to this version is probably the most popular. It was written by William J. Kirkpatrick in 1895.
  3. Snow - Randy Newman wrote this song and it was originally recorded by the late, great Harry Nilsson. Tracey Thorn also recorded a wonderful version.
  4. White Christmas - A short instrumental version of Irving Berlin's classic played on a classic Rhodes electric piano.
  5. Eternal Gifts - Written by the prolific Kate York, Leigh Nash originally recorded this song on her "Wishing for This" Christmas EP.
