Description
We had been touring for about half a year when we decided to make Ain't That Lovin'. We were feeling good about the way we sounded live and wanted to capture that particular moment in our playing. We had to finish a lot of the songs while in the studio, so we drew our lyrical inspiration from our experiences on the road. “Daggers” and “Good As Gone” are about touring, “Wishful Thinking On Seagrass Shoal” and “Be Your Strength” are about overcoming hardships and big life changes, and “Like You Do” is just a rock song that was too much fun not to put as the first track. - Swear and Shake
