The Chronicles of Trap J Vol.1 Trials and Tribulations is the debut mixtape of Hip-Hop artist Trap J. Trap J is a Hip-Hop music artist from Jacksonville, FL. He is a member and co-founder of the Five Star Music Dynasty. At the University of North Florida Trap J studied and graduated with a degree in Sport Management and also distinguished himself as a Rugby Player, yet he says music has always been a passion. His influences as an artist can be traced to Soul music, East and West coast rap, and whatever falls in between; citing Biggie, Tupac, Jay-Z, Michael Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, TI, Marvin Gaye, The Isley Brothers, Al Green, Earth Wind and Fire, and James Brown amongst others. What sets Trap apart from other artists is his unwavering confidence in himself, his devotion to making real music, and staying true to the pure roots of hip-hop.
