The Marvel Netflix shows have been coming out at a steady pace every six months or so, and Iron Fist isn’t about to break that streak.
Marvel released a short teaser for the forthcoming show to reveal its release date. We’ll be seeing Game of Thrones’ Finn Jones as Danny Rand busting out some kung fu on March 17, 2017.
Netflix also released an image of Rand in action, doing one of those sweet mid-air punches, which you can see below.
After Iron Fist we’ll get The Defenders, which will see Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Danny Rand teaming up to fight some big bad who is presumably not so big that it warrants The Avengers’ involvement. At this pace, we should expect to see The Defenders begin production soon, then air sometime in fall of 2017. After that we’ll be getting a Punisher series and another season of both Daredevil and Jessica Jones, but those are a ways off.
