Watch Bernie Sanders on Saturday Night Live
It wasn’t a surprise when Bernie Sanders took the stage on SNL last night. It was announced earlier in the week that he’d make a guest appearance during the episode hosted by Larry David. Instead of the obvious gag of Sanders appearing as himself to confront David’s impression of Sanders, though, SNL had Sanders play a character in a sketch about a drowning ship. Watch Sanders basically deliver an abbreviated version of his stump speech while playing an angry steerage passenger confronting Larry David’s rich prick.
