Parquet Courts and Bun B’s “Captive of the Sun” Rework is Getting a Standalone Release

Parquet Courts appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in July to perform “Captive of the Sun,” off of their latest album Human Performance, and to spice things up, they brought rapper Bun B along to add his own verse to the song.

That unique version of the track is getting its own release as a 12” vinyl, with a “Chopped & Slopped Mix” from DJ Candlestick and OG Ron C as the B-side. The 12” will release on Feb. 17, 2017, through Rough Trade Records. You can listen to a clip from the Chopped Not Slopped remix below.
