Every now and then a youth soccer player comes along and reminds me that I was nowhere near talented enough or dedicated enough to become a professional soccer player. Dino Bontis is just such a player.
The 9-year-old goalkeeper, who was born in 2004, plays club ball for the Hamilton Sparta soccer team. He also trains with the Toronto FC pre-academy team and, if the above video is any indicator, is likely to make an appearance for the senior team before his first day of middle school (chances are they still won’t have made the playoffs by then).
