Watch Jo Firestone Do 5 Minutes on The Tonight Show

New York City-based comic and former Tonight Show writer Jo Firestone made her latest appearance on her old show on Monday night, and whenever one of Paste’s best comedians of the decade (let alone 2018) takes to the airwaves, you know it’s going to be worth watching.

The Joe Pera Talks with You star, Dr. Gameshow co-host and 33-year-old white woman did five minutes on getting “Ann Taylor’d” while window-shopping, having a nine but being a six at parties, counterintuitively making her bad dog stronger, the challenges of direct eye contact, and befriending neighborhood kids in the grossest way possible.

Firestone released her acclaimed Comedy Central stand-up album The Hits in 2018, featuring music from Arcade Fire’s Will Butler. She’s currently a head writer on the podcast revival of The National Lampoon Radio Hour alongside Cole Escola, and a series regular and executive producer on Pera’s aforementioned Adult Swim show.
