Carrot Cocktails Are Totally a Thing Now

Sure, you’ve seen carrots used in a salad or maaaaaybe as a garnish for a Bloody Mary, but have you ever seen a carrot cocktail?

Carrot cocktails have started to become a thing around the country, with drinks being made with everything from carrot-infused vodka to straight carrot juice with a liquor twist.

It’s certainly an interesting trend. As someone who is, in general, a bit apathetic abount the vegetable, I’m not sure it’s something I would gravitate toward on a cocktail menu, but it is something I could see reaching for when I wanted to be a bit “healthier” with my beverage selection. Who says cocktails can’t be healthy, right?

Curious what a carrot cocktail actually looks like? Here’s a look at a few that are being served around the country, along with notes about what you can expect from the drinks directly from the people mixing them up.
