So, there apparently exists a collaboration between Flying Lotus and Anderson .Paak? This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise, as .Paak’s style tends to fall somewhere in the middle ground between Kendrick Lamar and Chance the Rapper, two artists with whom FlyLo has already collaborated on multiple occasions, but it’s such a match made in heaven that it bears repeating: there is a collaboration between Flying Lotus and Anderson .Paak.
The news comes, as it so often does now, via Twitter, where a fan tweeted (accurately) that a track from the two is what “the world needs.” Flying Lotus, whose debut feature film Kuso premieres at Sundance next week, responded saying “It exists!” and was backed up by .Paak, the artist behind one of the best albums of 2016, who proclaimed that we’re “not ready” for it.
This sounds promising. Find the tweets in question below.
The world needs an @AndersonPaak and @flyinglotus track. Maybe throw a little Captain Murphy on there for good measure.
