Watch: Bernie Sanders Calls Trump Firing Comey “A Threat to the Rule of Law in Our Country”

The list of politicians who have called the Comey firing “troubling” is long, but very few have had the courage to come out and call Trump’s move a threat to the very fabric of our society. That’s just what Bernie Sanders did, in a video message posted to Twitter Wednesday night. Watch the video below, in which he questions the extent of Trump’s ties to Russia, and calls for a special, independently appointed counsel to investigate.
