Netflix’s Narcos Renewed for Two More Seasons
Image via YouTubeNarcos’ executive producers have continually been transparent in regards to Pablo Escobar’s looming demise, but fans were unsure of how, if at all, the series would be able to continue without him. Just days after season two’s release on Netflix, the streaming service has confirmed that Narcos will see two more seasons centered on the operation of Colombian drug cartels in the late 20th century.
Season one followed the advancement of the real-life cartel boss, played by Wagner Moura, during the 1970s and 1980s, while season two tracks the 18 months mounting to his death in 1993, over the course of 10 episodes. The next two seasons are slated to depict those who rose to fill the power void left by Escobar and his Medellin cartel.
