The Affair Review: “Episode Three”
(Episode 2.03)
There is only one thing that can trump the drama of an illicit affair: a teenage daughter. Whitney is back, and lives up to the stereotype of teenage girls. Even though she is somewhat belligerent, she has some valid points, like maybe Allison and Noah shouldn’t get engaged so quickly. While it seems like much of this show centers on people’s lives being torn apart, Allison has a moment of clarity and redemption, which ends with her confronting her demons about swimming.
